The Genome Sequencing Laboratory (GENS) is a comprehensive core laboratory and computing facility located in Foster Hall, centered on a next-generation, pyrosequencing system . This operation specializes in non-traditional applications like phylogenetics and population genetics for non-model organisms, but integrated support is also provided for whole genomes and other typical high-throughput sequencing applications.
